Richard and Chelsea - 2016

"Montana took the time to really understand and capture our story. It really shows in the beauty and intimacy of his work."

Caitlin and Bow - 2014

"Montana was able to leverage the setting, lighting and landscape to create timeless photos of my wife and I that we will cherish forever. In 20 years, when I look back at these photos, I will remember exactly how it felt on the that warm Napa day and I will have Montana to thank for that!"

Frequently asked

I offer an assistant if so desired. I have shot a wide variety of weddings from 800 guests to 50 guests. I have shot both sizes by myself, but love shooting with another photographer as we can help bounce amazing ideas off of each other.

Do you shoot with a photographer's assistant

I shoot RAW files, these files are designed to give the photographer, with his or her software, ultimate control over what they are capturing. To achieve the style I am looking for, I shoot in RAW so that I can, in post production, push and pull what I see necessary to achieve the end product. You, amongst others, are not interested in having the RAW files. The files coming out of camera quite dull and you would need high end software in order to read these files.

Do I want raw files?

I offer a wide range of coverage from elopements (2-3 hours) to full day of coverage (11-12). I find that 8-9 hours works very well for a good amount of clients. Sometimes we scale up and sometimes down, just depending on the individual needs of the day. What you want to consider most is that the more I am around the more comfortable your guests and bridal party are with me photographing.

How many hours is best?
