I want to start off by saying thank you to all of you that keep up with my work and enjoy my photography/life. It is such a joy to share what I create and see on a daily basis. On July 15th I turned 27 which, in my mind, seems like one of those awkward years that comes along and somewhat scares you because you are only 3 years away from 30. However, I would hope that I have enough grace as I get older and keep the liposuction to a minimum. š I am still so young and, as I have said before, have one of the best jobs in the World. One of my biggest inspirations is shooting my own life as well as the people around me. As you have noticed I do have a sense of humor and to be quite honest most of the time you can read my comments in a Ron Burgundy voice and understand how it was suppose to come out. =)
Anyways……
I wanted to share some of the photos from my birthday and what I got to see with some special people of mine. In the photos to come you will notice a special someone named Nicole, she is my “Lovely”/ “My Thunder Cat”. Nicole is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. She cares and gets along with everyone while having a love for adventure. She has amazingly beautiful hair and the cutest laugh. Her Spirit Animal, in my eyes, is a koala. Look at her nose, you will see it. You will also see my buddy Taylor Gray, who is an amazing and extremely talented artist with a beard. This man puts most people to shame when he picks up a pencil or a guitar or a piano or cooking utensils or (….), let me just put it this way, he is talented. Last but not least I want you all to meet Chach. This guy is one of the sweetest men out there. He loves to dance, loves amazing coffee, and enjoys good friendship. Also, he is an amazing artist himself with a killer eye for videography. Unfortunately I am only in one photo that Taylor took while I was driving but I would say it is the best portrait of the day, don’t worry you will find it. I shot a wedding the day before on the 14th in Sonoma which was so awesome. As we got up the next day we made our way to Oakland and picked up Taylor, got some coffee, and headed down the Highway 1 till we got to Santa Cruz. I still have not seen the entire coast but I am leaving it for another adventure.
27 is going to be an amazing year, I can already tell. God has given me so much and I love sharing it with all of you out there. Next year will be filled with some beautiful weddings in Italy, the Bahamas, South Carolina, and Yosemite. I cannot wait to share those events with you!!! Cheers on this happy Sunday and I hope you all enjoy the 27 photos I put up for you.
**Side not: To bring in my 27th birthday at 12 AM in the morning after a long day of shooting we went to my least favorite restaurant, McDonalds. So what do you do when it is the only restaurant open that late??? You get a kids Happy Meal. Now, this could just be my lack of memory but I thought the toys use to be awesome!!! What happened!!!??? The toys we got, well, were lame. We made them tag along the whole day. I hope you enjoy their placement.
Taylor going in for the High Five.
