How easy could it be to let weather be a determining factor of how you remember your wedding?
The weeks leading up to Jan and Andrew’s wedding were stressful, needless to say. I had many conversations with Jan about how confident I was that their day would turn out awesome, regardless of the weather that was posing a threat. I understand that we all have dreams and preconceived ideas of what our wedding day will look like, but we cannot control all aspects of life, other than choosing to be joyful. The truth that I see behind this story is, #1. have faith in your photographer and their abilities and #2. remember what your wedding is actually about. A wedding is about two people coming together in the adventure of life. Marriage gives us the ability to choose success with each, not hope for it. I am a believer that when you attain joy, nothing can change that; no weather, no mistake, no fumble can ever touch true joy.
All three of us reminded each other that, regardless of the situation, we were there to capture who they were and what they were there to do. Jan and Andrew are starting a journey that will have ups and downs, valleys and peaks, struggles and joys, and through all of that they will get to choose each other in that adventure. These photos are proof that I was a part of something much bigger. All of it came together so beautifully at Elawa Farms and I am super excited to see their relationship with each other grow! =)
Thank you to everyone that came together to make this day so awesome. It was such an amazing time!

We just love you so much Montana. Whether you realize it or not, you alone made up one of the biggest parts of our wedding day. You kept us positive when we needed it and light hearted when it called for it most. I hope you had as much fun as we did!! xxooxxoo
